Most everyone on this site has lived a good portion of their life in the JW world. A very unnatural environment, a place of fear and guarded conversation. Making the transition is difficult we have to learn what real conversation and honest exchange is so we just all need to relax and let the situation flow. This site is a training ground.

Ancient aliens
by DS211 indoes anyone believe or put any truth to the stuff on this show?
from what i can see its pretty cool stuff.
seems to tie in a lot of social ideas about religions and prayer and interaction with a spirit realm.

I love ancient alien we recently went to an ancient mysteries conference at the Edgar Cayce center and we met Giorgio in fact I took a picture of my husband and Giorgio tsouk He was a very nice and straight forward kind of guy. We listened to a talk by David Hatcher Childress it was a great time. I don't know what really happened on this planet in the past the archeological evidence is very interesting and it begs many questions. There's many mysteries the puma punku ruins, ollantaytambo the windover bog people in Florida. What I do believe is that we've been enslaved by biblical fantasies of magical angels and a capricious god demanding our allegiance or else.
Certainly the idea that a more advanced technological race visiting our planet in the past is not absurd and crazy in comparison. I don't know the answers I wish I did but for me the alien possibility is still open.

it's been five years and as i look back i think What a strange adventure that was. i was not raised in it so it was a bit easier to walk away once you realize you thought you saw something you tried it out but it was wrong. You just have to accept that you can't blame it on anybody but yourself. It's not the first mistake I've made in my life and it won't be the last but growth is all about learning from your mistakes and moving on. My relationship with jwn has changed over the years it's a helpful place and caters to wherever your at on the issue.

Sometime during the night of November 10th the villagers were awakened by loud booms and flashing lights in the sky. The next morning they were horrified to find mutilated farm animals hanging from the trees like christmas decorations. In the center of the town square was a large tortilla with Jesus smiling face and a virgin mary pinata hanging above it. The town was baffled by the incident but soon bus loads of worshippers started arriving along with ancient alien afficionados and the just plain curious. The town became an immediate internet sensation and money flowed in the streets and the villagers realized it was a blessing from their god.

Could there really be something to the UFO phenomena? Amazing documentary
by yadda yadda 2 init's easy to just poo-poo the ufo thing, especially if you're naturally very skeptical after your jw experience as i am, but when you see documentary's like this it seems undeniable that some kind of inexplicable phenomenon is occuring.
.
could vehement deniars of the ufo phenomenon please suspend their criticisms until they've at least watched the whole documentary, to be fair to others who are more open-minded on this subject.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rjismjxshpg.

I don't think much about alien abductions and I'm not saying that it isn't so. However i am interested in ancient archeology and it does seem to indicate that extraterrestrials might have been here in the past. it's a curious topic and the sumerian tablets are fascinating so i believe in keeping and open mind.
